Terms & Conditions

1. Bookings & Payments

1.1 Standard Honey Cakes: To simplify the process and secure your date, full payment is required at the time of booking for all standard honey cake orders.

1.2 Custom Cakes: For custom designs or multi-tiered creations, a 50% deposit is required to secure your date and allow us to source fresh ingredients. The remaining balance must be settled at least 48 hours prior to collection or delivery.

1.3 Confirmation: An enquiry does not constitute a booking. Your order is only officially confirmed once payment/deposit is received and you have received a final Order Confirmation email from us.

2. Cancellations & Refunds

2.1 More than 7 days’ notice: Deposits may be transferred as a credit for a future order (valid for 3 months from the original event date), subject to our availability. Alternatively, a refund may be issued minus any costs already incurred (e.g., specially ordered toppers, flowers, or specific ingredients already purchased).

2.2 Less than 7 days’ notice: The deposit is non-refundable as ingredients have been sourced and other enquiries for that date have been declined.

2.3 Within 48 hours: The full balance is non-refundable.

3. Design & Artistry

3.1 As our cakes are handmade and artisanal, slight variations in colour, floral placement, and fruit decoration may occur.

3.2 We use reference photos as inspiration only and do not provide 1:1 replicas of other bakers' work.

4. Collection & Transport

4.1 Pick-ups are strictly by scheduled appointment from North St Marys.

4.2 Liability: Once a cake has been collected and leaves our premises, we are no longer responsible for any damage caused during transport or storage.

4.3 Please follow our FAQ for storage and transport tips (refrigeration, flat surface, A/C on, no car seats).

5. Delivery Policy

5.1 Attendance: We cannot leave cakes unattended at the delivery location.

5.2 Grace Period: We offer a 15-minute waiting period. If no one is available to receive the cake within this time, the cake will be returned to our kitchen.

5.3 Failed Delivery: In the event of a failed delivery, the customer must either pick up the cake from North St Marys or pay a second delivery fee for a re-delivery attempt (subject to our availability). No refunds are provided for failed delivery attempts.

6. Dietary & Allergies

6.1 Our signature honey cakes contain ground almonds.

6.2 While we offer egg-free and nut-free options (7 days' notice required), our kitchen handles nuts, eggs, dairy, and gluten.

6.3 We cannot guarantee a 100% allergen-free environment and do not recommend our products for those with severe allergies.
